DTC has developed a convenient means of wireless transmission for the Scout camera. The VBL/S-250 transmitter mounts on the side of the Scout using an existing mounting point, and connects to the video output of the Scout with a single cable. It's held firmly in an elastic lined pouch. Power is provided by the VBL/S-250's integral AA battery pack. This is an ideal way for commanders to remotely monitor the output of the Scout IR camera. For receiving the transmitted signal, DTC recommends the MiniPIX™, VR-450 or SuperTRIAD diversity receive platforms, designed for mobile environments.
