Video Transmitter 250mW

The new power efficient 250 mW video transmitter from DTC features ten user programmable video frequencies. Two audio sub-carriers are also user programmable on each video channel. Channel selection is made via a ten channel rotary select switch on the front panel of each unit.

Audio sub-carriers are phase locked to ensure no drift into the video signal. Audio sub-carriers are only activated when a microphone is attached. Audio quality is dramatically improved by the addition of AGC on the mic inputs. You will hear a clear difference. Choose from operation in the 1700-1850 MHz, 2200-2300 or 2400-2500 MHz bands.

Encryption Optional

The switching power supply in the VMS/L series ensures minimal heat rise of the package and requires no additional heat sinking. Designed to operate off 9-16 VDC, the VMS/L also provides a DC power output to your camera, simplifying cabling in many installations. Your transmitter will ship with a rubber duck antenna, power cable,video cable, programming cable, and software at no additional cost.

Encryption Keys

DTC offers three layers of encryption keying

Level I DTC has selected a standard key that is factory programmed for law enforcement. It provides video privacy without the hassles of key management. It is ideal for most state and local agencies.

Level II DTC will program a key into the Micro Viewlock module that is unique to your agency. All your agencies equipment will interoperate, but not with other agencies.

Level III DTC will provide you with software and programming instructions for you to program your own keys. This is the highest level of security we offer.
