XPDK-S Super Triad

The XPDK-S-300/500 synthesized diversity receivers offer optimum capability to overcome picture breakup and color distortion in applications where the transmitter or receiver are in motion. They can be used with any transmitter within their operating band set to the same frequency and deviation.

The XPDK operates by using multiple receivers and antennas to look at and evaluate a single transmitted signal. The theory is that one of the arriving signals will be better than the others. The best signal will be selected and automatically switched to at over 15,725 times per second. In addition, antennas may be routinely mounted 100' from the receiver rack, enabling the agent to position the antenna around obstructions.

The XPDK-S series combines either three or five receivers in a standard 19" rack, and is ideal for command post or surveillance van mounting.

Multiple camera systems are supported in the MegaCam™ configuration, shown in upper right. Antennas are often shared between rack receivers by using customized antennas spitters.
