The Palladium Pd-RX-Board series of receivers
have been designed for repackaging into a variety
of housings, such as operator control units for
UGV/UAV’s, briefcase surveillance systems
and other systems where higher levels of product
integration are desirable. Offered as a board
level assembly, the first stage RF down converters
are provided separately from the main receiver
board affording greater flexibility in packaging.
The Pd-RX-Board receiver is remarkably small,
integrating all the electronics required for RF
reception, MPEG 2 decoding, and COFDM demodulation.
The standard system operates at 2.5 MHz channel
spacing with approximately 400 carriers. An optional
model enables the decoding of both the 2.5 MHz
(narrowband) data stream as well as DVB-T compliant
mode data at 6, 7 or 8 MHz channels. DTC’s
engineering staff of 35 professionals can accommodate
changes to board layout to provide fit, form and/or
function capability in larger OEM applications.
