Palladium Digital Video RX
The Palladium Pd-RX-XX integrates all the electronics
required for RF reception, MPEG 2 decoding, COFDM
demodulation and down converters into one small,
milled aluminum housing. All connections are from
the front panel. An optional IP interface board
with Ethernet connection is available which mounts
directly to the receiver. It is an ideal stand
alone system for the reception of digital video
in many applications.
The front panel of the unit provides two RSSI
indicators, one for each antenna/receiver chain.
Eight preset channel configurations may be selected.
A ten pin Hirose connector is used for programming,
remote on/off control, and power input. SMA connectors
are used for the two antenna connections. A BNC
connector is used for the standard video output,
while a separate connector provides digital video
loopthrough capability for a repeater mode. There
are two adudio connectors.
The standard system operates at 2.5 MHz channel
spacing with approximately 400 carriers. An optional
model enables the decoding of both the 2.5 MHz
(narrowband) data stream as well as DVB-T compliant
mode data at 6, 7 or 8 MHz channels. End to end
latency across the communications link is only
43 mS
in the narrowband mode, providing the ability
to control a robot or UAV in near real time.
Features
- Narrowband operation at 2.5 MHz for optimal
frequency utilization
- DVB-T compliant using 2000 carriers
- Optional version demodulates both narrowband
and DVB-T compliant transmissions
- 43 mSec latency across the link in Narrowband
mode
- Diversity reception reduces multipath and
fade impact
- Maximal Ratio Combining for improved sensitivity
- Internal AES 128 encryption
- Low power consumption makes it ideal for integration
into
portable devices
- Both NTSC and PAL supported
- Optional IP interface board for streaming
video over the Internet
- Two high fidelity audio channels with variable
sampling rates

Video TX/RX Kit |
Palladium Digital Video TX/RX Kit
The Palladium Digital Transmitter and Receiver
Kit includes everything you need to transmit and
receive high-quality video using the most advanced
digital technology. Simply connect your video
source or camera to the transmitter input and
follow the simple Quick Start instructions for
connecting antennas and power.
This kit is ideal for use inside buildings, in
urban areas, and in other applications where multipath
would normally cause video tearing or breakup.
Kit components include the Palladium 100 Transmitter,
Palladium Receiver, two magnetic mount receiver
antennas, a dipole transmitter antenna, batteries,
cables, and
connectors.
The Palladium digital video transmitter provides
exceptional video quality in high multipath environments.
The transmitter and receiver are designed for
spectrum-efficient 2.5 MHz channel spacing. Approximately
400 carriers are used to transmit video and two
channels of voice and data. Palladium transmitters
may be located on adjacent channels without a
guard band. AES 128-bit encryption ensures users
of secure communications.
